WMR has learned that the National Security “Q” Group, responsible for security, has grown to an immense security and counter-intelligence force, with an estimated one thousand government employees, contractors, and paid informants. NSA’s Security force is reportedly primarily tasked with plugging any leaks of classified or other information that points to U.S. government’s involvement with the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. . . .
The bottom line is that a number of NSA personnel who were on duty in the months leading up to 9/11, the day of the attacks, and subsequent weeks and months, are aware of undeniable facts that point to a massive cover-up by the Bush-Cheney administration of the circumstances surrounding 9/11, including what actually befell United Airlines flight 93 and who was issuing direct military orders from the White House.
The Obama administration, rather than lessen the pressure on the NSA personnel, has turned up the heat and is resorting to even more draconian methods to ensure silence.

I had submitted a review of "Firefight — Inside the Battle to Save the Pentagon on 9/11" to Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble after attending a talk by the authors (where they refused to answer my questions).
I don't recall the history of the review at Barnes & Noble. The Amazon.com review was accepted, published, and was on Amazon.com for months. It's no longer there. Is this more of the coverup of 9/11?

My varied work experience has taught me how to sift through complex, conflicting facts and opinions to arrive at defensible conclusions. I challenge the 9/11 Commission to defend theirs.
I managed the National Power Grid Study (directed a couple of dozen, multidisciplinary teams — total 150 persons), and the National Electric Reliability Study for the U.S. Department of Energy. I also set up and directed the Operations Review Division at the Iowa Commerce Commission. I’ve consulted for the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the World Bank — in Albania, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Latvia, Pakistan, Russia, and Tanzania.
I was recently on a three week lecture tour of South Africa speaking before hundreds every day, interviews on radio and television, etc. Virtually all who listened came away sharing my conclusions. The U.S. embassy declined an invitation from SAfm to rebut me.
If you and your staff have an open mind, I believe you too will agree. Given the current financial crisis, we cannot afford unnecessary wars.

When did Fort Meyer Fire Department Foam Unit 161 arrive at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001?
When did Fort Meyer Fire Department (FMFD) Foam Unit 161, and Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority (MWAA) Foam Unit 331, arrive at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, and why does it matter?
National Airport's aircraft rescue firefighters (ARFF) foam units "knocked down the bulk of the fire in the first seven minutes after their arrival," said Captain Michael Defina, who was the shift commander that day at Reagon National Airport (National Fire Protection Association Journal, November 1, 2001—original removed, but available elsewhere).
Captain Defina, who had been at the site of a motor vehicle accident, arrived at the Pentagon "two to three minutes" after he "saw a smoke plume arise" from the Pentagon.

FMFD Unit 161 at the Pentagon before Flight 77 strike?
"Captain Defina drove onto the heliport and directed Foam Unit 331 to set up there, where Fort Myer Rescue Engine 161 had established a hydrant water supply. The only other firefighting apparatus he saw on the west side was Arlington County's Engine and Truck 105 on the far north end. Their crews went into the building to conduct search and rescue."

From the photo and diagram above, it appears that the crew of Engine 161 are seen entering the Pentagon's heliport side entrance (shown in the diagram at bottom center). Engine 161 is just left of the entrance. The gap in the Pentagon wall after the collapse of its roof would be on the right—either on the edge, or just off the photo.

The debris seen in the photo of Foam Unit 161 is consistent with an explosion inside the Pentagon. The fires in the photo below appear to have started after Unit 161 arrived, and not the fire "knocked down . . . in the first seven minutes after their arrival" by the crew of Unit 331.

At the Dept. of Defense News Briefing on September 12, 2001, when asked about the "small pieces of the plane virtually all over, out over the highway, tiny pieces", Arlington County Fire Chief Ed Plaugher responded, "I'd rather not comment on that."

America under attack: A chronicle of chaos and heroism at the Pentagon on 9/11
John N. Maclean's review of Firefight: Inside the Battle to Save the Pentagon on 9/11 misses a key fact that undercuts the authors' account of what happened at the Pentagon on 9/11.
The authors, Patrick Creed and Rick Newman, write that the aircraft that hit the Pentagon punched a hole 90 feet wide at the entry point, then compressed into a bullet-like shape and burrowed 310 feet into the building.
In the picture below, take a look at the entry point while the Pentagon fire was still raging.

And this picture of the crew of Engine 331, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, attempting to put out the fire.

And this picture after the fire has diminished, but before the collapse of the roof.

Do you see a 90 feet wide hole in the Pentagon wall? Or any signs of a Boeing 757? Of course not.
What you may have seen is a picture taken after the roof collapsed. Miraculously, the "Boeing 757" made it through the light poles and highway sign before striking the Pentagon.

Just minutes after the attack, standing in front of the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, Jamie McIntyre, CNN's senior Pentagon correspondent since November 1992, reported: "From my close up inspection there's no evidence of a plane having crashed anywhere near the Pentagon. . . . . The only pieces left that you can see are small enough that you could pick up in your hand. There are no large tail sections, wing sections, fuselage—nothing like that anywhere around which would indicate that the entire plane crashed into the side of the Pentagon. . . . It wasn't till about 45 minutes later . . . that all of the floors collapsed."

Career army officer sues Rumsfeld, Cheney, saying no evacuation order given on 9/11, no sign of a crashed airplane at the Pentagon
A career Army specialist who survived the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, claims that no evacuation was ordered inside the Pentagon, despite flight controllers calling in warnings of approaching hijacked aircraft nearly 20 minutes before the building was struck. . . .
Spc. Gallop also says she heard two loud explosions, and does not believe that a Boeing 757 hit the building.
The following paragraphs are from the complaint filed in the UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF NEW YORK by APRIL GALLOP, for Herself and as Mother and Next Friend of ELISHA GALLOP, a Minor:
33. At the Pentagon, the plaintiff was at her desk, with her baby, in her office on the first floor, when large explosions occurred, walls crumbled and the ceiling fell in. Although her desk is just some forty feet from the supposed impact point, and she went out through the blown-open front of the building afterwards, she never saw any sign that an airliner crashed through. If Flight 77, or a substitute, did swoop low over the building, to create the false impression of a suicide attack, it was then flown away by its pilot, or remote control, and apparently crashed someplace else. At the building, inside or outside of the wall the plane supposedly hit, there was no wreckage, no airplane fragments, no engines, no seats, no luggage, no fuselage sections with rows of windows, and especially, no blazing quantities of burning jet fuel. The interior walls and ceilings and contents in that area were destroyed, but there was no sign of a crashed airplane. A number of those present inside the building and out have attested to this fact in published reports.
34. Instead, just when plaintiff turned on her computer — for an urgent document-clearing job she was directed by her supervisor to rush and begin, as soon as she arrived at work, without dropping her baby off at child care until she was finished — a huge explosion occurred, and at least one more that she heard and felt, and flames shot out of the computer. Walls crumbled, the ceiling fell in, and she was knocked unconscious. When she came to, terrified and in pain, she found the baby close by, picked him up, and, with other survivors caught in the area, made her way through rubble, smoke and dust towards daylight, which was showing through an open space that now gaped in the outside wall. When she reached the outside she collapsed on the grass; only to wake up in a hospital some time later.

Retired Lt. Gen. Hamid Gul, former director of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence agency, or ISI, says "9/11 was a bloody hoax, . . . an inside job."
This is consistent with the position Gen. Gul stated in September 2001 during an interview with Arnaud de Borchgrave — United Press International editor-at-large, and which he repeated to Fareed Zakaria of CNN on December 8, 2008 following the Mumbai attacks.

Top 9/11 suspects to plead guilty
The military tribunal may never go ahead in its current form, analysts say
Alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four co-defendants have told a military judge at Guantanamo Bay they want to confess and plead guilty.
The judge at the pre-trial hearing, Col Stephen Henley, said he would question the men to ensure that was their wish.
Mr Mohammed had earlier said he wished to be executed and achieve martyrdom, but had still mounted a defence.
The five accused face the death penalty if convicted of a role in killing 2,973 people in the suicide plane attacks.
No date has been set for the five men's full military tribunal, and their appearance in court on Monday followed hearings held under a judge who resigned last month. . . .

UN rights official endorses 9/11 conspiracy theories
UN Watch, an independent human rights monitoring organization based in Geneva, today called on UN chief Ban Ki-moon and human rights commissioner Navi Pillay to condemn a United Nations official for endorsing conspiracy theories regarding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
In a new article published this week in a Scottish student newspaper, entitled “9/11: More than meets the eye”, Richard Falk, the UN Human Rights Council investigator of “Israel’s violations of the principles and bases of international law”, expressed unqualified support for the 9/11 conspiracy movement, pointing to “doubts surrounding the true character of the events surrounding the 9/11 attacks.”

Bush had no plan to catch Bin Laden after 9/11
Even after Sept. 11, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and Vice President Dick Cheney continued to resist any military engagement in Afghanistan, because they were hoping for war against Iraq instead.
Bush's top secret order of Sept. 17 for war with Afghanistan also directed the Pentagon to begin planning for an invasion of Iraq, according to journalist James Bamford's book Pretext for War.

NYC 911 ballot initiative campaign announces milestone
On the 7th Anniversary of 9/11, the NYC 911 Ballot Initiative Campaign will announce it's historic achievement of having secured 30,000 signatures towards the creation of a new investigation of the crimes of 9/11/01! Members of the Campaign will be joined by speakers Dr. William Pepper, international human rights attorney, William Rodriguez, who saved many lives that day and was last man out of the World Trade Center, Cynthia McKinney, former Congresswoman and Green Party presidential candidate, along with other surprise guests. What really happened to 7 World Trade Center?
Today, Shyam Sunder, lead investigator at NIST, presented NIST's findings at a press briefing. A draft "Final Report on the Collapse of World Trade Center Building 7" was made available on the Internet later in the day.
NIST claims that the collapse was due to "some structural damage to the southwest perimeter" by falling debris, and to "ordinary building content fires" on floors 7 through 9, and 11 through 13. This caused "buckling of a critical interior column", followed by "progressive collapse".
It should be noted that engineers have routinely designed structures to withstand expansion of steel members.
Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, with 400 plus members, argue that NIST does not address why the collapse exhibits none of the characteristics of destruction by fire, such as slow onset with large visible deformations, and symmetrical collapse — which would cause the building to fall to the side most damaged by the fire.
NIST also does not address why the collapse does exhibit all the characteristics of a classic controlled demolition with explosives such as rapid onset of collapse, sounds of explosions at ground floor — a full second prior to collapse, symmetrical collapse — through the path of greatest resistance — at nearly free-fall speed — with the steel skeleton broken up for shipment, massive volume of expanding pyroclastic dust clouds, tons of molten metal found by Controlled Demolition, Inc., the chemical signature of thermate (a high tech incendiary) found in slag, solidified molten metal, and dust samples by Prof. Jones, and rapid oxidation and intergranular melting on structural steel samples examined by FEMA.
When I worked for the U.S. Department of Energy, it would have been highly unusual that a report such as NIST's were presented to the news media without it first being presented to outside peer review, and often with both supporting and dissenting views included in an appendix.

Prof. David Ray Griffin: 911 contradictions
In open letter to Congress and the press, Dr. Griffin presents a sequence of irrefutable facts drawn from documents and testimony that demonstrate twenty five internal contradictions in the official 9/11 story. Firefight: Inside the battle to save the Pentagon on 9/11
A book review by Enver Masud, founder of The Wisdom Fund
Firefight, by Patrick Creed and Rick Newman, is primarily about the heroic efforts of the firefighters at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. What is of interest to us is the authors' description of the attack on the Pentagon — it contradicts the evidence available to the public.
Creed and Newman write:
- “The plane crossed Washington Boulevard, . . . traveling more than 500 miles per hour and was less than 30 feet off the ground.”
- “the planes wings knocked over several light poles that line the road.”
- “As the Flight 77 flew nearly to ground level, its right wing sliced into a 750 kilowatt generator . . . The plane’s right engine ripped a hole in a fence near the generator . . . the left engine grazed the grass . . . Both wings began to break apart, hurling metal fragments into the air.”
- “The nose of the plane hit the facade, . . . about 14 feet above the ground, going 530 miles per hour.”
- “The airplane’s tail, 45 feet tall, was still attached to the plane as it plowed into the Pentagon.”
- “Along the outer wall, 21-inch-wide concrete columns, . . . stood every ten feet, . . . The impact of the plane knocked out eight of them completely, and severely damaged two others.”
- “The body of the hijacker who had been flying the plane ended up in the D Ring about 107 feet from the point of impact.”
- “The punch-out hole . . . was created by explosive energy”.
In an earlier article, “What really happened at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001,” published by The Wisdom Fund (twf.org), I debunk the theory that Flight 77, a Boeing 757, struck the Pentagon.
Standing in front of the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, Jamie McIntyre, CNN's senior Pentagon correspondent since November 1992, reported: “From my close up inspection there's no evidence of a plane having crashed anywhere near the Pentagon. . . . . The only pieces left that you can see are small enough that you could pick up in your hand. There are no large tail sections, wing sections, fuselage - nothing like that anywhere around which would indicate that the entire plane crashed into the side of the Pentagon. . . . It wasn't till about 45 minutes later . . . that all of the floors collapsed.”
Arlington County Fire Chief Ed Plaugher, incident commander at the Pentagon on September 11, corroborates Jamie McIntyre's report. At the September 12, 2001, DoD briefing, when asked: "Is there anything left of the aircraft at all?" said: "there are some small pieces of aircraft ... there's no fuselage sections and that sort of thing."
Victoria Clarke, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs — "presenter" of the DoD briefing, did not contradict Chief Plaugher. American Airlines, Flight 77, Boeing, Dulles, and passengers were not mentioned at the briefing.
Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski, who from her fifth-floor, B-ring office at the Pentagon, witnessed "an unforgettable fireball, 20 to 30 feet in diameter," was called for stretcher duty. She describes “a strange absence of airliner debris, there was no sign of the kind of damage to the Pentagon structure one would expect from the impact of a large airliner. This visible evidence or lack thereof may also have been apparent to the secretary of defense, who in an unfortunate slip of the tongue referred to the aircraft that slammed into the Pentagon as a 'missile'. “
Barbara Honegger, military affairs journalist at the Naval Postgraduate School, writes that NORAD's: “Gen. Larry Arnold, revealed that he ordered one of his jets to fly down low over the Pentagon shortly after the attack that morning, and that his pilot reported back that there was no evidence that a plane had hit the building.”
Doubts among the firefighters as to what struck the Pentagon are noted by Creed and Newman.
They write: “Denis Griffin . . . had been working in the aftermath of the attack all day, and seen wreckage that looked like it could be from an airplane, but there were so many wild stories going around that he wasn’t sure what to believe.”
Two statements in the book by Creed and Newman are striking:
- “FBI photographer Jennifer Combs (formerly Jennifer Farmer) went far out of her way to pull hundreds of photographs from archives and narrate all of them”.
How did they get access to these photographs, when others have Freedom of Information Act requests pending for these photographs and Pentagon videos?
- “Plaugher came by . . . 'We think it’s al Qaeda,' he said, citing a villain many of them had never heard of.”
What would cause Plaugher, Fire Chief of Arlington County, to make such a statement so soon after 9/11? Plaugher now serves as "a key member of the IAFC Terrorism Committee."
Creed is an amateur historian, volunteer firefighter, and U.S. Army Reserve officer who recently returned from a tour in Iraq as civil affairs officer with the Army’s Special Operation's Command. Newman is an award-winning journalist and staff writer for U.S. News & World Report.
It should be noted, that to this day, the only passenger lists made public have no Arab names on them, Bin Laden is not wanted for 9/11 at the FBI’s Most Wanted, and the only evidence offered by the government to substantiate their claim of Flight 77 having struck the Pentagon is a fuzzy video that proves nothing — indeed the flight recorder data released by the government shows that a plane flew about 400 feet above the Pentagon.

The timeline in the "Arlington County After Action Report on the Response to the September 11 Terrorist Attack on the Pentagon" contains this item: "11:00 p.m. Chief Edward Plaugher and Major General James Jackson hold first joint press conference".

Is Pakistan ready for another 9/11?
The Pakistani ambassador in Washington was put on notice early this month that the U.S. would ‘retaliate’ if America suffered such an attack. . . . Part of the concern is that Washington is exaggerating Al Qaeda’s capabilities and that Pakistan could end up entrapped in a manufactured crisis that serves American strategic objectives that do not match Pakistan’s.

I recently returned from a 3-week, 9/11 lecture tour of South Africa where I gave about two talks daily to audiences of several hundred, appeared on several radio stations including SABC, and one interview was broadcast to Sub-Saharan Africa — view at http://www.twf.org/News/News911.html.
Based upon feedback received, virtually everyone who attended my talks in South Africa, and in the U.S., left with serious doubts about the official version of 9/11.
One Supreme Court (not U.S.) judge said that at the very least my presentation provides "reasonable doubt" if not "a preponderance of evidence" against the official account of 9/11.

Japanese lawmaker questions official explanation
Yukihisa Fujita, a member of the Democratic Party of Japan, asked the Japanese Parliament and Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda to explain gaping holes in the official 9/11 story that various groups — including those who call themselves the "911 Truth Movement" — claim to have exposed.
