Maher Osseiran, writing for the Muckraker Report, claims that the Bin Laden confession videotape is "the result of a sting operation run by U.S. intelligence, with the help of Saudi intelligence, and that bin Laden could have been captured on the date he was taped, September 26, 2001, ten days prior to the war in Afghanistan."

Pilots, aviation professionals critical of official account
A new Pilots and Aviation Professionals page was launched today. The new page features more than 30 commercial and military pilots, and more than 20 other aviation professionals, who are critical of the official account of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, and the crash of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.

The difference is remarkable. There's a glaring scarcity of wreckage at the site of the Pentagon crash. The wreckage of the Airbus 320 that crashed into a building in Sao Paulo, Brazil on July 18, 2007 is visible, and recognizable.

Engineering firm co-founder seeks new investigation
J. Marx Ayres, former member of the California Seismic Safety Commission and the National Institute of Sciences Building Safety Council, and co-founder of one of the largest building engineering firms in Los Angeles, has signed the "Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth" petition requesting a new investigation of 9/11.
In his statement, Mr. Ayres wrote, “I support the work of Dr. Steven Jones. He has provided a scientific foundation for the collapse of the three World Trade Center (WTC) towers. I read the FEMA September, 2002 report, prepared by the American Society of Civil Engineers, and initially accepted their theory of the collapse of WTC 1 and 2. As more information became available on the web, I was motivated to research the subject in a more rigorous manner. I have carefully studied the Jones 2006 paper, “Why Indeed Did the WTC Buildings Completely Collapse?” and concluded that it is a rational step-by-step study that meets the accepted standards for scientific building research. His critical reviews of the FEMA, NIST, and 9/11 Commission reports are correct.”

Request for Correction filed with NIST
A Request for Correction, filed by the Muckraker Report assisted by Attorney Jerry Leaphart, challenges NIST on "numerous issues that are believed to be major obstructions standing in the way of the government issuing an independent, non-biased, truthful report on how WTC7 collapsed on September 11, 2001." NIST has not responded.

NIST exploring 9/11 "blast events" for WTC-7
"A new eyewitness inside WTC-7 on the morning of 9/11 heard explosions before either of the Twin Towers collapsed. He was summoned to the Office of Emergency Management Operating Center (OEMOC), also known as "Rudy's Bunker," on the 23rd floor of the building. The center had been especially prepared for the Mayor and other officials to gather in case of a terrorist attack or other emergency. Some have wondered why Giuliani did not go to the OEMOC but instead remained some distance from the World Trade Center."
