Rumsfeld: 'Why not another 9/11'

When DeLong complained about a "lack of sympathetic ears" in Congress, and a lack of interest among the general American public, Rumsfeld responded, "What's to be done? The correction for that, I suppose, is another attack."

Steven Jones calls for 9/11 criminal investigation

Based on evidence of what he believes is unignited thermite particles in debris collected within minutes after the collapse of the World Trade Center's first tower, retired BYU physicist Steven Jones called for a criminal investigation into the destruction of three World Trade Center high rises in a speech at a 9/11 conference in Boston.

Kevin Barrett, the 9/11 skeptic whose questioning of the official story of the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon drew fire from politicians when he held a one-semester appointment as an associate lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is about to push back at the politicians.

Why has the US dropped 9/11 charges?

The American government has given no reason why charges against the man it has alleged was the "20th hijacker" in the 11 September 2001 attacks on the US have been dropped.

Mohammad al-Qahtani has been held at Guantanamo Bay since 2002, following his detention in Afghanistan.

In February, he was charged with conspiracy, terrorism, and murder in violation of the laws of war, among other offences.

The US alleges he attempted to come to the United States in order to take part in the 9/11 attacks, but was stopped at the airport on his arrival.

9/11 co-conspirators charges referred

The Defense Department announced today that charges against five of the six detainees who are alleged to be responsible for the planning and execution of the attacks upon the United States of America on September 11, 2001 have been referred to trial by military commission. Those attacks resulted in the death of 2,973 people, including 8 children. The referred charges detail 169 overt acts allegedly committed in furtherance of the 9/11 events. The accused will face trial in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

In accordance with the Military Commissions Act of 2006, the Convening Authority has the sole discretion to determine what charges will be referred to trial. In exercising her independent judgment, the Convening Authority, Ms. Susan Crawford, has referred to trial charges against Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Walid Muhammad Salih Mubarak Bin ‘Attash, Ramzi Binalshibh, Ali Abdul Aziz Ali, and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi.

Michael Moore’s next is another 9/11 movie!

It’s been long rumored but today it really does look like it’s happening.

American documentary film-maker Michael Moore has agreed a deal with Paramount Vantage and Overture Films (who are co-financing) to make a sequel to the highest grossing documentary of all time - Fahrenheit 9/11.

Moore is working on the movie right now (it’s long been said to be titled Fahrenheit 9/11 and a half) which will be released next year, . . .

Tale of Building 7's collapse suggests official complicity, persistent obstruction

Reputable scientists, engineers, architects and firemen with no political angle dispute the 9/11 Commission report and say that the evidence indicates the Twin Towers and Building 7 came down due to controlled-demolition explosions. Tests corroborate the presence of thermite, an explosive used in building demolitions, at the site of the Twin Towers and Building 7.

Thermite also explains the pools of molten steel in the basement, which no one has been able to otherwise explain and which the National Institute of Standards and Technology simply denies. . . .

Aviation companies blame FBI, CIA and terrorists for 9/11

"The aviation parties anticipate that the FBI witnesses' testimony will demonstrate that the FBI had information before Sept. 11 indicating that al-Qaida may have been about to launch terrorist attacks on civil aviation, which it did not timely pass along to the Federal Aviation Administration," lawyers wrote. . . .

In the lawsuit against the CIA, companies including American Airlines Inc., United Airlines Inc., US Airways Group Inc., Delta Air Lines Inc., Continental Airlines Inc. and The Boeing Co. are seeking to interview the deputy chief of the CIA's bin Laden unit in 2001, and an FBI special agent assigned to the unit at that time. The names of both are secret.

The Israeli military aircraft company tied to 9-11

A little-known and privately-held aircraft leasing company created by the Israeli military intelligence is connected to the Mossad-run airport security and passenger screening company at the center of the "false flag" terror network of 9-11. . . .

In December 2001, veteran German intelligence professionals told me that 9-11 had been executed by a state-sponsored criminal network and had required years of planning. . . .

The lack of foundation damage at the Pentagon is irreconcilable with the official reports and data

The ASCE Building Performance Report has meticulously documented the damage to the building and has come to the conclusion that all damage from the alleged plane impact was limited to the bottom two floors, but primarily below the 2nd floor slab so that 90 tons of jumbo jet would have slid on it's belly across the 1st floor slab all the way through the C-ring. . . .

With a finite amount of space between the bottom two floors and the required wing tilt that they report, the ASCE report illustrates that about half of the left engine would have burrowed into the foundation of the building.

The renowned U.S. critic Noam Chomsky had pointed out in correspondence with 9/11 "truth activists" that “Since the evidence is so obvious and compelling, submit an article about it to Science, or Nature, or even Scientific American, or more technical journals, say those in civil engineering, where your article can refute the conclusions of the professional society of civil engineers… To date, no one has been willing to submit an article -- at least, after probably hundreds of inquiries to Truth Movement advocates, no one has been able to mention one...”

Ted Olson's report of phone calls from Barbara Olson on 9/11: Three official denials

The most serious official contradiction of Ted Olson's story came in 2006 at the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui, the so-called 20th hijacker. The evidence presented to this trial by the FBI included a report on phone calls from all four 9/11 flights. In its report on American Flight 77, the FBI report attributed only one call to Barbara Olson and it was an "unconnected call," which (of course) lasted "0 seconds." According to the FBI, therefore, Ted Olson did not receive a single call from his wife using either a cell phone or an onboard phone.

Don't execute 9/11 accused: Mukasey

U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey said on Friday he hoped the six Guantanamo prisoners charged with the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington would not receive the death penalty....

Human rights groups call the proceedings a farce, as detainees do not have legal rights normally accorded to U.S. citizens and prisoners of war.

Pakistani Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and five others are charged with crimes including murder, conspiracy and terrorism for the attacks which killed around 3,000 people in 2001.

Former Italian president: 9/11 orchestrated by CIA, Mossad

Former Italian president Francesco Cossiga, the man who revealed the existence of Operation Gladio, says that the September 11, 2001 attacks were orchestrated by the CIA and Mossad, and that this was common knowledge amongst global intelligence agencies.

Cossiga's revelations about 9/11 were published last week in Italy's oldest, and widely read, newspaper—Corriere della Sera.

9/11 'mastermind' Khalid Sheikh Mohammed charged

The Pentagon today charged Khalid Sheikh Mohammed with masterminding the events of September 11, 2001 even though the Pentagon's News Transcript of September 12, 2001 contradicts the 9/11 Commission Report's claim that the Pentagon was struck by a Boeing 757 on September 11, 2001.

At the September 12, 2001, U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) briefing, Arlington County Fire Chief Ed Plaugher when asked: "Is there anything left of the aircraft at all?" said: "there are some small pieces of aircraft ... there's no fuselage sections and that sort of thing."

Victoria Clarke, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs - "presenter" of the DoD briefing to the world press, did not contradict Chief Plaugher, and CNN video of September 11, 2001 corroborates Ed Plauger's remarks at the DoD briefing.

Standing in front of the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, Jamie McIntyre, CNN's senior Pentagon correspondent since November 1992, reported: "From my close up inspection there's no evidence of a plane having crashed anywhere near the Pentagon. . . . . The only pieces left that you can see are small enough that you could pick up in your hand. There are no large tail sections, wing sections, fuselage - nothing like that anywhere around which would indicate that the entire plane crashed into the side of the Pentagon. . . . It wasn't till about 45 minutes later . . . that all of the floors collapsed."

"American Airlines," "Flight 77," "Boeing," "Dulles," and "passengers" are not mentioned in the News Transcript.

I just returned from a 3-week lecture tour of South Africa where, using establishment news sources, I showed to large audiences in about a dozen cities that the primary conclusions of "The 9/11 Commission Report" are false. A television interview broadcast to Sub-Saharan Africa summarizes this evidence.

In his new book, "The Commission: The Uncensored History of the 9/11 Investigation," New York Times investigative journalist Philip Shenon writes that Philip Zelikow, the 9/11 Commission's executive director attempted to intimidate staff to avoid findings that would be damaging to President George W Bush, who was running for re-election, and Condoleezza Rice, his then National Security Adviser. (Shenon apparently accepts the major conclusions of "The 9/11 Commission Report"— we do not.)

Tom Leonard of the British Telegraph wrote, "When Bob Kerrey, a Democrat member of the commission, learned the extent of Mr Zelikow's ties to the administration, he confronted Tom Kean, its Republican chairman. . . . Mr. Kerrey reportedly threatened to resign unless Mr Zelikow was sacked, but was persuaded to stay."

Sen. Max Cleland, resigned from the commission in November 2003 saying, "Bush is scamming America."

"The chair and vice chair of the 9/11 Commission, respectively Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton, assert in their book, Without Precedent, that they were 'set up to fail' and were starved of funds to do a proper investigation", reported the Guardian.

The others charged by the Pentagon are: Walid Bin Attash, Ramzi Binalshibh, Ali Abd al-Aziz Ali, Mustafa Ahmad al-Hawsawi, and Mohammed al-Qahtani.

Mark Weitzman, Simon Wiesenthal Center, challenged

Richard Gage, architect, has demanded a retraction of "false, defamatory, outrageous and insulting statements" made by Mark Weitzman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center who, in testimony before the Homeland Security Subcommittee on Intelligence, Information Sharing, and Terrorism Risk Assessment, referred to AE911Truth.org as an "Incubator of 9/11 Conspiracies and Disinformation".

Gage's letter to Mark Weitzman makes the following points regarding the World Trade Center:
- The destruction occurred with rapid onset, at virtually free-fall speed, and with radial symmetry.
- One hundred eighteen first responders described hearing, seeing and feeling explosions and seeing flashes of light at the onset of destruction.
- The concrete floors were almost completely pulverized into dust and gravel.
- The structural steel framework was largely dismembered into shippable lengths. Much of it was hurled outside the Twin Towers' perimeters, some as far as 500 feet away.

- Proven chemical evidence of thermate, an incendiary material which produces molten iron as its by-product, found on the columns and beams, previously molten metal, and iron-rich micro-spheres in the dust by Dr. Steven Jones (and corroborated by the USGS but never explained).

Enver Masud's 9/11 lecture tour of South Africa and Malawi

Enver Masud, founder of The Wisdom Fund, just returned from a 3-week lecture tour of South Africa and Malawi.

Using video clips from CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, and Fox, plus photographs and official documents, Mr. Masud demonstrated that the major conclusions of "The 9/11 Commission Report"—the official, conspiracy theory—are false.

An iTV interview was broadcast to Sub-Saharan Africa via satellite. A one hour interview was broadcast across South Africa on SAfm—the American embassy declined SAfm's invitation to participate. Articles were published by local newspapers at most venues. The talk is available on the Internet as a slide and film presentation.

Stanger, Nov 13: Enver Masud gave a talk at Kwa Zulu Natal town hall—about 200 attended.

Durban, Nov 14: Formal dinner of the Islamic Medical Association. Enver Masud gave the 45-minutes, keynote speech—about 600 attended.

Pietermaritzburg, Nov 15: Mixed crowd of about 250 at the beautiful campus of Kwa Zulu Natal University. Those attending included Yusuf Bamji, a member of the provincial parliament, and reporters from the Natal Witness (oldest paper in SA), Mercury, Independent Online, and Publica. Next day Enver was interviewed by Sharon Dell for the Natal Witness.

Durban, Nov 16: Venue changed at last minute to Sufi Hall in order to accommodate a larger than expected crowd. Overflow crowd of 600 to 700.

Port Shepstone, Nov 17: About 600 attended talk at Port Shepstone Islamic School.

Newcastle, Nov 18: About 450 attended talk at Checkers Hall.

Ladysmith, Nov 19: About 500 attended talk at Islamic Educational Centre.

Cape Town, Nov 20: Talk during lunch at Muslim Judicial Council. Interview on Voice of the Cape radio. About 600 attended talk at Town Hall.

Cape Town, Nov 21: Lunch with small group from the Islamic Medical Association. One hour interview on Radio 786. Talk at Dar-ul-Islam—about 480 attended.

Pietersburg, Nov 22: About 350 attended talk at Pietersburg Town Hall. Interview with Channel Islam during drive back next day to Johannesburg.

Johannesburg, Nov 30. One hour interview by Ashraf Garda on SAfm (very popular national talk radio). The U.S. embassy was given two weeks to provide a representative for the interview, but did not respond. Talk at Masjid al Takwa, Lenasia. One hour interview on iTV by Shamshad Sayed broadcast to 20 plus countries.

Port Elizabeth, Dec 1: Interview on KQFM in township that was the home of many of South Africa's ruling party. Talk at Masjid Takwa. Brief talk at Assaidaat Foundation dinner—about 500 attended.

Port Elizabeth, Dec 2: Interviewed by Shaanaaz De Jager for The Herald. Brief talk at Masjid Mansour, Eutinhage. Talk at Movement Hall—about 350 attended.

At each venue there were articles and ads, some full page, in local papers, plus posters announcing Enver’s appearance.
