UN official calls for study of neocons' role in 9/11
On March 26, Richard Falk, Milbank professor of international law emeritus at Princeton University, was named by unanimous vote to a newly created position to report on human rights in the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs. Top Democrats demand Attorney General explain remarks about pre-9/11 phone call
A letter has been sent by leaders of the House Judiciary Committee to Attorney General Michael Mukasey, demanding that he explain a recent public statement that federal authorities failed to intercept a call from suspected terrorists in Afghanistan prior to the 9/11 attacks, when doing so could have prevented the attacks from taking place.
Ted Olson's report of phone calls from Barbara Olson on 9/11: Three official denials
The most serious official contradiction of Ted Olson's story came in 2006 at the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui, the so-called 20th hijacker. The evidence presented to this trial by the FBI included a report on phone calls from all four 9/11 flights. In its report on American Flight 77, the FBI report attributed only one call to Barbara Olson and it was an "unconnected call," which (of course) lasted "0 seconds." According to the FBI, therefore, Ted Olson did not receive a single call from his wife using either a cell phone or an onboard phone.

Former Italian president: 9/11 orchestrated by CIA, Mossad

9/11 'mastermind' Khalid Sheikh Mohammed charged
The Pentagon today charged Khalid Sheikh Mohammed with masterminding the events of September 11, 2001 even though the Pentagon's News Transcript of September 12, 2001 contradicts the 9/11 Commission Report's claim that the Pentagon was struck by a Boeing 757 on September 11, 2001.
At the September 12, 2001, U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) briefing, Arlington County Fire Chief Ed Plaugher when asked: "Is there anything left of the aircraft at all?" said: "there are some small pieces of aircraft ... there's no fuselage sections and that sort of thing."
Victoria Clarke, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs - "presenter" of the DoD briefing to the world press, did not contradict Chief Plaugher, and CNN video of September 11, 2001 corroborates Ed Plauger's remarks at the DoD briefing.
Standing in front of the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, Jamie McIntyre, CNN's senior Pentagon correspondent since November 1992, reported: "From my close up inspection there's no evidence of a plane having crashed anywhere near the Pentagon. . . . . The only pieces left that you can see are small enough that you could pick up in your hand. There are no large tail sections, wing sections, fuselage - nothing like that anywhere around which would indicate that the entire plane crashed into the side of the Pentagon. . . . It wasn't till about 45 minutes later . . . that all of the floors collapsed."

Mark Weitzman, Simon Wiesenthal Center, challenged
Richard Gage, architect, has demanded a retraction of "false, defamatory, outrageous and insulting statements" made by Mark Weitzman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center who, in testimony before the Homeland Security Subcommittee on Intelligence, Information Sharing, and Terrorism Risk Assessment, referred to AE911Truth.org as an "Incubator of 9/11 Conspiracies and Disinformation".
Gage's letter to Mark Weitzman makes the following points regarding the World Trade Center:
- The destruction occurred with rapid onset, at virtually free-fall speed, and with radial symmetry.
- One hundred eighteen first responders described hearing, seeing and feeling explosions and seeing flashes of light at the onset of destruction.
- The concrete floors were almost completely pulverized into dust and gravel.
- The structural steel framework was largely dismembered into shippable lengths. Much of it was hurled outside the Twin Towers' perimeters, some as far as 500 feet away.
- Tons of molten metal were seen by FDNY and others, and was described as "flowing like lava" for weeks after 9/11, yet its existence was denied by NIST.
- FEMA documented structural steel samples showing evidence of rapid oxidation, sulfidation, intergranular melting, and partial evaporation – features which occur only with temperatures at least 1,000° F. hotter than office or jet fuel fires.
- Proven chemical evidence of thermate, an incendiary material which produces molten iron as its by-product, found on the columns and beams, previously molten metal, and iron-rich micro-spheres in the dust by Dr. Steven Jones (and corroborated by the USGS but never explained).
"These features are characteristic of controlled demolitions, and not office or jet fuel fires", says Gage.

Using video clips from CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, and Fox, plus photographs and official documents, Mr. Masud demonstrated that the major conclusions of "The 9/11 Commission Report"—the official, conspiracy theory—are false.
An iTV interview was broadcast to Sub-Saharan Africa via satellite. A one hour interview was broadcast across South Africa on SAfm—the American embassy declined SAfm's invitation to participate. Enver Masud on 9/11 lecture tour of South Africa
Enver Masud, founder of The Wisdom Fund, leaves today on a 10-city, 2-week lecture tour of South Africa where he will present evidence debunking the official, 9/11 conspiracy theory.
His presentation, "Fatally Flawed: The 9/11 Commission Report," plus the introduction and summary of conclusions are available on the Internet.
To ease into digesting the new, and probably unfamiliar, information on 9/11 summarized in his presentation, Masud recommends starting with his article on the Pentagon attack.
Multiple appearances are scheduled for Masud in Benoni, Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Ladysmith, Newcastle, Pietersburg, Pietermaritzburg, Port Shepstone, and Stanger.
In Cape Town, Masud is scheduled to meet with MPs and Ministers. He is also scheduled to be interviewed on prime time TV, and on a popular, national radio show.
"It's time," says Masud, "for truth, justice and peace movements to join with the 9/11 truth movement in debunking the official, 9/11 conspiracy theory. Organizations such as CAIR, ICNA, ISNA, and MPAC have a special obligation since Muslims have borne the brunt of the U.S. war on terror launched in response to 9/11."

CNN's Jamie McIntyre rebuts official account of Pentagon attack
Standing in front of the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, CNN's senior Pentagon correspondent since November 1992, Jamie McIntyre reported: "From my close up inspection there's no evidence of the plane having crashed anywhere near the Pentagon. . . . . The only pieces left that you can see are small enough that you could pick up in your hand. There are no large tail section, wing section, fuselage nothing like that anywhere around which would indicate that the entire plane crashed into the side of the Pentagon."
Fire Chief Ed Plaugher corroborates Jamie McIntyre's report. At a Dept. of Defense News Briefing, presented by Assistant Secretary Victoria Clarke on September 12, 2001 at 10:16 a.m., when asked: "Is there anything left of the aircraft at all?" said: "there are some small pieces of aircraft ... there's no fuselage sections and that sort of thing."

NIST 'unable to provide a full explanation of the total collapse'
NIST has admitted what was clear from a careful reading of their reports that the simulations they conducted went as far as collapse initiation. They do not explain the total collapse of the World Trade Center towers. The following are quotes from a NIST letter dated September 27, 2007.
B. NIST Computer Simulations: "NIST has used an extensive database of photographic and video evidence to validate the models used to analyze the behavior of the towers up to the point of initiation of collapse."
E. The WTC Steel Temperature: "While NIST did not find evidence that any of the recovered core columns experienced temperatures in excess of 250C, it is not possible to extrapolate from such a small sample size to state that none of the core columns on the fire affected floors reached temperatures in excess of 250C."
F. The Goal of the WTC Report and Its Overall Analysis: "NIST has stated that it did not analyze the collapse of the towers. NIST carried its analysis to the point where the buildings reached global instability. . . . we were unable to provide a full explanation of the total collapse."

"[T]wo low-altitude calls from Flight 93 were, according to the FBI report, the only two cell phone calls made from all four flights," writes author David Ray Griffin. Last year, according to Griffin, American Airlines said that their "757s in 2001 had no onboard phones".

The following is the text of an email sent to Michael Shermer who appeared on the Colbert Report today:
Mr. Shermer "The 9/11 Commission Report" is fatally flawed.
Just this week Dr. Lynn Margulis (recipient of the National Medal of Science, America's highest honor for scientific achievement) called the events of September 11, 2001 “this new false-flag operation, which has been used to justify the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as unprecedented assaults on research, education, and civil liberties”.
As a consulting engineer since 1987, I have advised top officials in Albania, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Latvia, Pakistan, Russia, Tanzania, and the United States. I've also worked for the World Bank, USAID, U.S. Department of Energy (where I managed 26 teams to conduct the National Power Grid Study), District of Columbia Public Service Commission, the Iowa Corporation Commission, and for the U.S. private sector.
I've been skeptical of the official version of 9/11 since early 2002. I've summarized my findings in a slide presentation. I have a blog. And this Saturday we're having a "9/11 Teach-In" in Arlington.
I challenge the Skeptics Society to find fault with my conclusions.

History Channel presents '9/11 Conspiracies: Fact or Fiction'
It doesn't take long to figure out whose side the History Channel is on. According to the History Channel "The 9/11 Commission Report" is not a conspiracy theory—the other theories are. Those speaking in support of "The 9/11 Commission Report" are "Experts"—others are not so designated.
Beyond the obvious bias the History Channel makes no effort to explain why Bin Laden is not wanted for 9/11 by the FBI, the lack of Arab names on the passenger lists, why airplane parts at the Pentagon were not matched to their serial numbers, why the government refuses to release photos from Pentagon cameras and the film it confiscated from the Sheraton Hotel and the nearby gas station, the presence of molten metal in the basement of World Trade Center 1 and 2, the lack of any government explanation for the speed with which World Trade Center 1, 2, and 7 collapsed, . . .

Mainstream journalist questions the 'truth' about 9/11
Robert Fisk, a highly respected journalist on the Middle East, admits he is "increasingly troubled at the inconsistencies in the official narrative of 9/11. It's not just the obvious non sequiturs: where are the aircraft parts (engines, etc) from the attack on the Pentagon? Why have the officials involved in the United 93 flight (which crashed in Pennsylvania) been muzzled? Why did flight 93's debris spread over miles when it was supposed to have crashed in one piece in a field? . . .

Watch for another 9/11-WMD experience
A number of pundits have concluded that the reason the Democrats have not brought a halt to Bush’s follies is that they expect Bush’s unpopular policies to provide them with a landslide victory next year.
There is a problem with this reasoning. It assumes that Cheney, Rove, and the Republicans are ignorant of these facts or are content for the Republican Party to be destroyed after Bush has his warmonger-police state fling. “After me, the deluge.”
Isn’t it more likely that Cheney and Rove have in mind events that will, once again, rally the people behind President Bush and the Republican Party that is fighting the “war on terror” that the Democrats “want to lose”?
